The Greater Boston industrial market continued to perform very well in Q4 2019, recording 1,606,880 sq. ft. of positive absorption for the quarter, and over 2.5 million sq. ft. of positive absorption year-to-date.
Each market experienced a significant amount of growth, demonstrating the demand for
all types of industrial space throughout Greater Boston.
As shoppers continue to buy online and speed-to-ship remains the most important factor in most e-commerce supply chains, retail giants have zeroed in on infill submarkets surrounding cities to locate warehouses close to the urban areas.
